With the Arab Spring project, we were studying what it means for something to go "viral" and how fast something can travel; also known as logistic growth. Logistic growth is a model for quantity that increases quickly at first, and then more slowly as the quantity approaches an upper limit. To learn about the logistic growth, we monitored the amount of tweets that traveled within the Arab Spring time period. To monitor the tweets, we calculated differences between the tweets, and wrote down the data on our timelines along with the major events of the Arab Springs.
